Devil

The Devil represents a myriad of negative things, and this card acts as a warning to beware and resist them.

Notice that the couple are chained - that bondage represents the loss of independence; it could be feelings of helplessness, it could be an addiction, an unfavourable court order or legal limitation, being trapped in an unfavourable situation with no means of escape.

The Devil card also warns not to overindulge in the senses, nor forget your spiritual life. This card might also signify a hot, torrid love affair.
