Judgement tells us that a phase is coming to an end. This is not a sudden or negative ending as with Death, Wheel of Fortune or Tower; this is a logical conclusion such as a retirement or the completion of a project.

This card symbolizes finding absolution, feeling closure, completing one's purpose and being unburdened by responsibilities. The symbolism borrows much from the idea of the "Judgement Day" when you cast away your worldly fetters and are transformed by a new awakening.
